Opening Of The Exhibition Soulstriptease

Vestis virum reddit (clothes make the man) is Katja Pal's and Eva Vasari's departing point for their series of drawings Soulstriptease. Singular pieces of clothes communicate intimate and personal tales of the individual, whilst the act of dressing up designs their inner and outer displayed reality. On the contrary, the symbolism of undressing can be found as a confession or naked truth, as dropping our masks...  By listening to related stories of the selected items, they have tried to expose their wearers. To strip and portray their spiritual and psychic state, inner fears, happiness, dreams… everything that is normally out of sight to the naked eye.

E-Play Performs At Terminal00

The story surrounding Belgrade based band E-play from the very beginning was quite extraordinary. How many local bands are fortunate enough to win a recording award in the 1999 demo band festival, after just a few years of practicing in numerous basements? Some of the most popular Yugoslav films, Munje and Lavirint, feature their songs. Music performed by E-play is uniquely modern: incredibly energetic bass lines, screaming guitar sound, head-spinning special effects and drums in furious rhythms, intersect with lead singer Biljana’s significantly slower vocals – creating a noticeable contrast. Their second album Crime was released in 2005 with the collaboration of producer Nikola Vranjković.

Opening Of The Exhibition Accident And Fate

Terminal00 and KUD France Prešeren are jointly hosting Accident and Fate photography exhibition, which is also part of the Mesec Fotografije [Month of Photography] in Ljubljana.

Ali Taptik [Turkey] sets up a fragmented narration on life with his photographic series entitled 'Accident and Fate'. Under an uncanny beauty of the gloomy and dark frames, he confronts the viewer with detailed fragments of accidents that the city unfolds. In these frames, the city is real and physical; depicting the claim that in order to sense the city, one should physically be engaged with the city.
